Villa Iris is located directly on the Amvrakikos Gulf (national park) on the west coast of Central Greece. The Amvrakikos Gulf reaches the Ionian Sea at the Strait of Cleopatra (between Preveza and Aktio).
There are 3 spacious apartments for rent, each with 2 separate bedrooms, a living room with an open kitchen and a bathroom. All apartments have spectacular views of the Amvrakikos Gulf where dolphins can be spotted very frequently.
The area around the Amvrakikos Gulf has a lot to offer for those who seek the real authentic Greece amidst lots of nature and culture. The area is hardly known to foreign visitors, and Greeks themselves prefer to holiday in July and August only.
The area is perfect for the holiday maker and people who love nature and quietness. At the same time, in close proximity, there are countless opportunities for cultural excursions or day trips to nature and beautiful beaches
Famous tourist places In Lefkada and Parga are easily accessible. Preveza/Lefkas Airport is also nearby (45 km) or Igoumenitsa (100 km), the port connecting the main land to Corfu and Italy , should own transportation be used. Athens and Thessaloniki are within a 4-hour drive (new highway).
Iris Villas is located 1.5 km from the village of Sparto, where there is a mini market, a bakery, a restaurant and 3 beautiful beaches with facilities (Koulouri, Katergaki and Monolithos).
Amfilochia is the largest nearby town (8 km) with several bars, 2 beaches with facilities and restaurants on the promenade.
Iris Villas is located directly by the sea with a small pebble/rocky beach where you can swim, snorkel, fish or spot dolphins. There is a beautifully landscaped garden with palm and flowers, garden armchairs, parasols and sun beds. There is a large natural-stone balcony overlooking the sea, ideal to enjoy the beautiful sunset. A 4 person Jacuzzi, 2 outdoor showers and the use of the swimming pool are open to guests.
Books in Dutch and English are available on loan and advice as well as support with travel arrangements us offered if required.
A rental car is highly recommended. Pick up and return service to the airport in Preveza is offered for a small fee upon request.
Villa Iris is only suitable for adults (16 +), couples and small groups or for a romantic honeymoon.
